Mimi Sawhney
Chief Executive Officer
Mimi founded Learn With Us in 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and has since grown the organization to where it is today. She sets the organization’s vision, oversees all teams, leads fundraising efforts, and manages partnerships.
Emerson Allen
Chief Operating Officer
Emerson joined Learn With Us within the first months of its founding and now leads the operations team in onboarding, training and coordinating volunteers. She directs day-to-day activities and spearheads new initiatives to foster sustainable growth.
Khadicha Kosimjonova
Director of Volunteer Management
Khadicha began volunteering for Learn With Us in 2023 and is the newest member of our executive team. She leads student services, maintains relationships with all volunteers and makes student-tutor pairings.
Ilaana Khan
Director of Projects and Events
Ilaana joined the Learn With Us in 2023 and now coordinates all internal and external events, including weekly classes, summer sessions, office hours and the annual college application workshop.
Anya Gada
Director of Volunteer Development
Anya began volunteering for Learn With Us in 2020 and now oversees all volunteer screening, onboarding and training. Additionally, she works to develop new tutoring resources to support our volunteers.
Sudha Manogna Motamarri
Website Director
Sudha joined the Learn With Us team as a volunteer tutor in 2020 and now serves by maintaining our website. She oversees all aspects of the website’s operation, from content management to website design.
Hansini Wadan
Marketing Director
Hansini began volunteering for Learn With Us in 2021 and quickly became a vital part of our marketing team. She now leads the team in developing newsletter and social media content in line with our organization’s vision and values.
